Her father is an accomplished economics journalist and her mother is model and teacher. She lives together with partner Jeff Pruitt and their two dogs Kato and Suki in Los Angeles. She gets an relation with martial artist/stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt after he has invited her to become member of the ''The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers'' stunt team.
She starts her own personal training business called SOPHIA-FIT where she trains clients one by one. She is currently President of the United Stuntwomen's Association. She also writes a monthly article for Maximized Fitness and Health Magazine Online.
She learns new skills during the training at the Big John McCarthy’s Ultimate Training Academy in Valencia (CA.). She does the ISSA CFT exam in order to become certified as fitness trainer. She went through a rebellious period when she was 12 years old after her mother died of cancer. She left England for a journey with the bus to India and travels through Europe, Turkey, Iran and Pakistan in 1986.
